The 2spa controller will control all of the two speed Ford cooling fans, including the 3.8L Taurus fan and Ford dual Contour fan correctly. The low speed circuit is calibrated to turn the fan on low at 185F, but is adjustable over a wide range of temperatures. The high speed circuit turns the fan on high at 10 degrees higher in temperature while disabling the low speed circuit. The 2spa controller utilizes genuine OEM Panasonic relays that are rated at 40 Amps for the low speed circuit and 70 Amps for the high speed circuit.
The 2spb controller will control dual cooling fans that draw up to 25 Amps each. The low speed circuit is calibrated to turn on the low speed fan at 185F, but is adjustable over a wide range of temperatures. The high speed circuit turns on the high speed fan at 10 degrees higher in temperature without disabling the low speed circuit. The L102 indicator connects to the controller high speed output of the 2sp/ 2sp2 controllers. By sensing the fan speed, the indicator switches from green (low speed) to yellow (high speed)
The Contour wiring loom can be used with any of the above controllers in order to connect the Ford Contour fans in a two speed configuration.
